This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when using the mobile app LIVE AI ORACLE.

Note: This version is a working draft based on the current project information and does not replace legal review.

Purpose of the App

LIVE AI ORACLE is a mobile app for iOS and Android. The app provides live football match predictions, in particular calculations regarding the next possible live goal.

The predictions are provided for information and entertainment purposes only. The app is not a betting service and does not encourage participation in sports betting or gambling. No guarantee is given regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or occurrence of any prediction.

Data We Process

When using the app, the following data may be processed in particular:

  • Account data: email address, username, platform-specific user ID for Apple Login or Google Sign-In.

  • App usage data: favourites, leagues, teams, bookmarks, settings, and caches for match and prediction data.

  • Technical data: IP address, app version, operating system iOS or Android, device type mobile or tablet, and language setting.

  • Purchase and subscription information: status of in-app purchases, subscriptions, and ad-free purchases, as far as required for activation.

  • Advertising and consent data: consent status, advertising ID, Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, as far as required for Google AdMob and legally permitted.

  • Support data: content of support requests if users contact us.

  • Newsletter data: email address and consent status if a newsletter is offered and subscribed to.

  • Crash and error data: technical error reports if Sentry is used.

  • Push data: push tokens and technical delivery information when push notifications are used.

Purposes and Legal Bases

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Providing the app and its features, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

  • Managing accounts, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and ad-free usage, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

  • Storing favourites, bookmarks, and settings, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

  • Technical operation, security, error analysis, and abuse prevention, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  • Analysing app usage with Matomo to improve the app, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent is required.

  • Sending push notifications, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

  • Personalised advertising and ad measurement, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

  • Non-personalised advertising, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where legally required.

  • Support communication, Art. 6(1)(b) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  • Newsletter and marketing communication, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Account and Login

The app can be used without an account. An account is required for paid content. Login is provided through Apple Login or Google Sign-In.

Depending on the provider, we receive in particular a platform-specific user ID and, if shared, an email address and further login information. The data processing by Apple or Google is additionally subject to their respective privacy policies.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not process full payment details such as credit card numbers.

We only receive information required to verify and activate the purchase or subscription.

Advertising with Google AdMob

Advertising may be displayed in the free version of the app. For this purpose, we use Google AdMob. Device identifiers, Advertising ID, IDFA, IP address, app information, usage data, and consent information may be processed.

Advertising may be personalised or non-personalised. For users in the European Economic Area, we request consent before personalised advertising and comparable tracking activities. On iOS, Apple App Tracking Transparency is also taken into account where required.

Users can disable advertising through an in-app purchase.

Matomo Analytics

We use Matomo to analyse and improve the app. Matomo is self-hosted on our infrastructure at Hetzner Cloud.

The analysis helps us better understand usage, stability, and relevant app content. Where possible, analysis is carried out in a data-minimising manner and without directly identifying individual users.

Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging by Google for push notifications. Push tokens and technical delivery information are processed for this purpose.

Push notifications are only used if users actively allow them. Permission can be disabled at any time in the device system settings.

Crash Reporting with Sentry

Sentry may be used to detect and fix technical errors. Technical data such as app version, device type, operating system, time of the error, error logs, and IP address may be processed.

This processing serves the stability and security of the app.

Email, Support, and Newsletter

If users contact us, we process the information provided to handle the request.

If newsletters or marketing emails are offered, they will only be sent after prior consent. SendGrid may be used for email delivery.

Hosting and Infrastructure

The app backend systems, databases, and the self-hosted Matomo system are operated on servers at Hetzner Cloud. Hetzner processes data as a technical service provider for hosting purposes.

Use of the website

This Privacy Policy also applies to the public LIVE AI ORACLE website. The website and the mobile app are separate usage contexts. App consent, website consent and, where applicable, advertising consent are managed separately and are not synchronized with each other.

Website consent with Klaro

On the website, we use Klaro to manage optional website services. Technically necessary website functions, language routing and local UI preferences can be used without optional consent. The theme switcher may store the live-ai-oracle-theme preference in the browser. This preference is part of necessary website functionality and is not part of analytics consent.

The website consent decision is stored in the browser. Users can reopen the consent settings at any time through the consent settings page and change or withdraw their decision with effect for the future.

Website analytics with Matomo

If website analytics is enabled and you consent to the analytics category, we use Matomo to understand how the website is used and to improve it. This may include visited pages, language, approximate technical browser information and timestamps of page views. Matomo is self-hosted by us on our infrastructure. In version 1, website Matomo is operated cookieless; no Matomo cookies are set for this.

Without your consent, Matomo is not loaded on the website. Website analytics is separate from any app analytics. Website Matomo does not process app-specific data such as AID, push tokens, store tokens, app session tokens, favourites or in-app purchase data.

The legal basis for optional website analytics is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Retention, IP anonymisation, Do Not Track and retention settings must be checked and documented in the production Matomo instance before website analytics is enabled in production.

Live Match Data

We use BetsAPI for live football data. According to the current project status, no personal user data is transmitted to BetsAPI. BetsAPI serves as a source for sports-related live data that is processed in the app and used for predictions.

Local Storage on the Device

The app stores data locally on the device, in particular login tokens, settings, favourites, bookmarks, and caches for match and prediction data.

This storage is required to provide the app efficiently and in a user-friendly way.

Retention and Deletion

Account data and user-related content are generally stored until the user deletes the account. Statutory retention obligations, in particular for payment or billing information, remain unaffected.

Users can delete their account in the app once this feature is available, or request deletion by email to info@liveaioracle.com.

Recipients and Third-Party Providers

Depending on usage, data may be transferred to the following service providers or platform providers:

  • Hetzner Cloud: hosting, backend, database, Matomo.

  • Apple: Apple Login, App Store, in-app purchases, subscriptions, app statistics.

  • Google: Google Sign-In, Google Play, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google AdMob, Play Store statistics.

  • Sentry: error analysis and crash reporting, if used.

  • SendGrid: email delivery, if used.

  • BetsAPI: live football data without transmitting personal user data.

International Data Transfers

When using Apple, Google, Sentry, SendGrid, or other service providers, processing may take place outside the EU or EEA, in particular in the United States.

Where required, this is based on appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, in particular EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

Data Subject Rights

Users have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to certain processing activities in accordance with the GDPR.

Where processing is based on consent, consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Requests can be sent to info@liveaioracle.com.

Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for Rhineland-Palatinate is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Rhineland-Palatinate.

No Automated Decisions

No automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR are made that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect users.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if app features, services used, or legal requirements change.
